Repair Cafe Perth

Want to reduce your waste and prevent household items from ending up in landfill? Head down to Repair Café Perth every third Saturday of the month where expert volunteers will help you fix your broken items. They will help you with small household items including clothing, bikes, and small electrical devices.

Burning, Melting, Saving – Starts at 10am Are there other ways to make fuel? Burning, Melting, Saving uses curiosity and experimentation to find out how science, technology, engineering and maths can help us solve some of the biggest world’s problems.

Explore the science behind plastic recycling, water conservation and fuels as we melt, burn and explode our way through a series of spectacular experiments.

👩‍🔬 I’ve got a problem – Starts at 11am Does public speaking make your heart race? Do you have a friend with a ‘gas’ problem? Come on a journey as we use experiments, and a bit of research, to investigate how to solve some of life’s everyday problems… from the quirky, to the interesting, to the downright stinky.
