Sales activity increased seven per cent in Perth this week, with REIWA members reporting 486 transactions.
This increase can be attributed to a 10 per cent increase in house sales, however unit and vacant land sales declined by two per cent and eight per cent respectively during the week.
Listings for sale
There were 14,786 properties for sale in Perth at the end of this week, which is two per cent more than last week.
A closer look at listing stock levels shows house listings increased by two per cent, whilst listings for units and vacant land increased by one per cent.
This week’s total figure is seven per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago, and six per cent higher than levels seen a year ago.
Perth rental market
REIWA members reported there were 7,061 properties for rent in Perth at the end of this week, which is one per cent less than last week.
This week’s rental listings figure is three per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago, and are 25 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.
