Sales activity increased one per cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 1,008 transactions.
This increase can be attributed to a 36 per cent increase in vacant land sales, however house sales declined one per cent and unit sales were unchanged.
Properties for sale
There were 9,007 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is three per cent less than the previous week.
A closer look at listing stock levels shows house listings decreased by four per cent, listings for units decreased three per cent and listings for vacant land were stable.
Last week’s total figure is two per cent lower than four weeks ago and two per cent lower than a year ago.
Perth rental market
REIWA members reported there were 2,183 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is three per cent less than the previous week.
Last week’s rental listings figure is seven per cent lower than four weeks ago and 20 per cent lower than the same time last year.
Leasing activity increased two per cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 713 properties leased.
