Sales activity increased 15 per cent in Perth this week, with REIWA members reporting 467 transactions. 

This increase can be attributed to a 12 per cent lift in house sales, a 15 per cent lift in unit sales and a 44 per cent lift in vacant land sales over the week. 

Listings for sale

There were 14,117 properties for sale in Perth at the end of this week, which is three per cent more than last week. 

A closer look stock levels shows house and unit listings increased by four per cent whilst listings for vacant land remained stable. 

This week’s total listings figure is three per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago and six per cent higher than the same time last year. 

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 7,271 properties for rent in Perth at the end of this week. 

This week’s rental listings figure is similar to what was reported last week, three per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and 26 per cent lower than a year ago.
